The Crimson Cloak - RED Character Design Process

I’m excited to finally start sharing some of the work from "The Crimson Cloak", a personal project that has been sitting with me in one form or another for nearly 17 years.

This is the newest iteration of the idea, and the first step into the larger world building behind it. The project follows Red, the main character, and explores a stylized fantasy world built around monster hunters, ancient bloodlines, corrupted beast clans, and a blend of mythic tradition with arcane technology.

This first post is a small introduction to Red and the world she comes from. There is a lot more to come, including more of her development, additional characters, props, environments, and the larger visual language of "The Crimson Cloak".

For now, I’m excited to share the beginning of the journey.
