Personal Piece: Viking Long Home

Been working on this personal piece for a little over a week now in my free time. Basically, a Viking Long Home.

For those that are curious, my goal with this one was to do a set dressing and make it feel lived in. This piece was heavily inspired by the set design of the Vikings TV show as well as various viking pieces I found online. I also wanted to see what would happen if I stayed completely in Blender (no Octane Render) so I modeled out everything except for the table, chairs, barrels, and kitchenware you see from out. I used Quixel's Megascans for those incidental objects and then their Megatextures for base textures for the render. I did a few render passes, composited in Photoshop, and then over painted and photobashed to finish out the piece.

I learned a bit with this piece and made some mistakes but it was good practice for the future.
